Description: The OX62 monoclonal antibody reacts with rat CD103, also known as αE2 integrin. CD103 was originally identified on rat veiled dendritic cells, and is expressed by dendritic epidermal T cells in the skin, intraepithelial lymphocytes in the small intestine and by dendritic cells associated with γδ T cells. Integrins are a family of heterodimeric proteins which contain non-covalently associated α and β transmembrane glycoproteins. Integrins function as receptors for extracellular matrix and cell-cell adhesion molecules.
