Twice as much signal for less than the GE ECL System

SuperSignal West Pico Chemiluminescent Substrate permits low picogram detection limits to be achieved when entry-level ECL substrates do not perform as desired. Using lower concentrations of antibody than standard ECL substrates, SuperSignal West Pico Chemiluminescent Substrate yields longer light emission and at least two times the signal intensity of other entry-level luminol-based horseradish peroxidase detection systems while maintaining sensitivity and low background. All of this for about two-thirds the price of comparable products.

SuperSignal West Pico Chemiluminescent Substrate is stable for at least one year at room temperature and can be stored at 4°C for longer stability. The working solution is stable for a minimum of 24 hours at room temperature and can be used in either light and dark conditions.

In side-by-side comparisons using identical conditions, blots incubated in SuperSignal West Pico Chemiluminescent Substrate exhibit at least twice the intensity of blots treated with the GE Healthcare ECL System. SuperSignal West Pico Chemiluminescent Substrate costs much less than the GE Healthcare Amersham ECL* System. Furthermore, the SuperSignal West Pico Substrate stock solution is room temperature (RT) stable for more than 12 months, with no discernable loss in activity. RT stability frees up valuable cold room space and saves time because there is no need to wait for the reagents to warm up. With signal duration of more than six hours, there is adequate time to optimize the exposure conditions. In most cases, there is no need to rerun gels. Switching to SuperSignal West Pico Substrate from an entry-level ECL substrate is not only easy, it will give you more of the results you are looking for.
